# Figma Slides workflow

## Scope

Use only when the user requests Figma Slides or supplies a Figma Slides deck to edit. Tool availability does not choose the output format. Generic presentation requests default to PowerPoint through the existing create/edit capabilities. Explicit Keynote or other format requests require appropriate tooling; never rename a PPTX to pretend it is a native Keynote file.

This workflow carries no default brand. Preserve the supplied deck's design or follow the user's audience and brand brief. Load the Mirror Physics Blueprint profile only when its separate routing condition matches.

## Authoring

1. Establish the content, audience, intended destination, and whether this is a live talk or reading deck. Preserve source fidelity and essential caveats.
2. Discover the available Figma MCP tools and read their current instructions. When available, load `figma-use` and `figma-use-slides`; before creating a file, load `figma-create-new-file`. Other agents should use their equivalent tool documentation. Fractal supplies design evidence, not a replacement Plugin API manual.
3. Inspect the requested destination and relevant source slides before writing. Templates are read-only references unless the user explicitly asks to edit them. Create a separate destination for a requested new deck; preserve the original when adapting a source presentation.
4. Use editable native text and vectors, and replaceable image fills. Select layouts from the content hierarchy. Retrieve actual assets and data; never copy illustrative values as facts.
5. Inspect rendered slides for content fidelity, readability, clipping, overflow, alignment, and placeholders. Recheck changed slides after repairs. Apply the active brand profile's additional review requirements.
6. Return the destination link and disclose any unverified rendering or access limits. Figma tool installation does not guarantee file access or permission to change sharing or publish a team template.

If Figma MCP or file access is unavailable, report the specific limitation. Available local evidence can support an outline or implementation plan, but do not claim a Figma deck was created or silently substitute a PowerPoint deliverable. If a PPTX export is requested as well, activate the PPTX workflow and verify that exported file separately; a Figma link does not satisfy a file deliverable.
